This quick paced video shows the steps I took to build a lighted "GIVE" sign powered by Windows 10 IoT Core on a Raspberry Pi 2, and using Azure as a back end to control the sign remotely. This sign is used inside Microsoft as a progress indicator of how well we are doing on our charitable giving goals.
I built this sign mostly at MakerPlace in San Diego, and got to stretch my making skills with things like a CNC plasma cutter, aluminum anodizing, and lots of hands on making time!
Hopefully this will inspire you to get out and make something cool!
