thanks so much - this was excellent and very generous of you! (I would recommend uploading a less compressed movie file, so it can be viewed full screen with reasonable detail.)

    Hi all!
If you are watching this in 2018 and you are building custom gestures, this comment might come in handy!
I was making a custom Gesture DataBase, and Unity(2018.1.0f1) would not cooperate and recognize the built solution from Visual Gesture Builder. MAAAAAAAaaaan i tried EVERYTHING!!! BUT...
I managed to track down the issue - I finally got it to recognize the .gbd file that i created.
If this sounds like you are having the same problem, you could maybe try this and get lucky:
In kinect examples folder you can see some gesture examples demo that also use a custom .gbd -(I believe it is called "seated.gbd").
I went ahead and compared the two files ("MyDatabase.gbd" versus "seated.gbd") and the difference was following:
Right-Click on the example "seated.gbd" and chose "Show in explorer". You will see that the file is actually "seated.gbd.bytes", not just "seated.gbd", but the .gbd that gets built with the Gesture Builder is only lets say for example "MyDatabase.gbd". I fixed it by just adding .bytes at the end so now you should have something like "MyDatabase.gbd.bytes". You will probably get a prompt saying that renaming can corrupt your data and make it useless, if you are worried about that DO NOT HESITATE AND MAKE A BACKUP OF THE OLD FILE BEFORE CHANGING IT. DO IT.
Unity was apparently satisfied with that name change and everything started working again, I'm seeing Unity load all the custom gestures stuff and I am able to do things when they are triggered.
    I hope this helps,
Good luck and keep making stuff!

    Thank you.
