Learn how to leverage the new capabilities of WMI to build applications which generate events that can be used to

monitor their behavior in real-time and (b) analyze the history of that behavior to find the root-causes of detected issues. Use CIM and WS-Man to define an object model-based interface of managed resources (device, driver, OS role, …) to actively control its state and behavior, implementing CIM indications based on the underlying eventing mechanism. Learn how to instrument applications to be monitored by System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), packaged and deployed via Server App-V and Virtual Machine Manager (VMM), backed up by VMM, and automated by SCOM.
