Today's new applications - cloud or on-premises - include a spectrum of mobile clients, server to server communication, and web APIs, in addition to the traditional website. LDAP, Kerberos, and SAML aren’t enough to address the scenarios introduced by modern apps. Through OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect, Microsoft’s next generation authentication platform – including Active Directory Federation Services and Azure Active Directory – addresses these requirements. This session will discuss the protocols, libraries and tools that apply in this new world.
