Description

Jeff and Carmen will discuss some of the key advantages and interaction features of creating an app on the Universal Windows Platform. Along with fewer publishing restrictions and a shared code base, you’ll enjoy greater design flexibility, including new interactive and visual elements that can respond to contextual shifts across a wide array of devices. In addition to choosing which devices you’d like your app to appear on, you have a number of other design considerations to make as you create your app. What are the best ways to prioritize valuable screen real estate, enhance reachability on mobile devices, and lay out UI? Which navigation elements work best for which contexts, and on which devices? What actions might your app feature, and where might those actions be placed?
