Description

3D Printing has intense interest in the press and it’s super cool. In this session we will talk about the exciting work to support 3D printing in Windows 10, and how developers can use 3D printing in their applications.  We will cover the printer workflow which allows a user to select a printer, preview an object to be printed, scale it, repair it and place the objects on the print bed prior to printing.   We will speak about printer capabilities and material selection in the preview as well as APIs that are available to applications to do validate and repair within Universal Windows apps.  We will be demonstrating Cube 3 printers and the ability to select and print with multiple materials.
