    There are a lot of problem with the Windows Store and Dev Center! A Quick Overview:

    1.) Not possible to select All time and custom data ranges in the Reports. The DevCenter missing these very important features!
    I can hardly understand why don't you not able to put the "All time" to the reports after one(!) year? It is a bad joke!

    2.) Reporting and analitics data broken on every 2 weeks. Every 2-weeks there is reporting issue in the past 5 years (!!)
    I can hardly understand why don't you not able to create a stable reporting after 5 years!? Google Play Developer Console and Google AdSense were able to create a stable and reliable reporting for apps and ads.

    3.) Reporting possibilities are very week in DevCenter. PubCenter had much more possiblity about reporting and generating reports, but it will shut down on May 1, 2016. So there will be no serious reporting for apps and ads.

    4.) It is not possible to transfer apps from one DevCenter account to another DevCenter account without loosing reviews, ranking, analitics reports data etc. Nor changing the country nor change individual account to company one.
    In Google Play Store and iOS App Store it is an easy task to change the Country you registered in or transfer apps from one account to another account.
    In DevCenter these are not possible

    5.) Microsoft customer developer support team are giving very very bad, and very anoying support.
    The support team:
     - Usually closing the tickets without solving the problem.
     - Saying that the problem is solved, but it is NOT solved!
     - Saying that another problem is solved, but this problem is NOT related to the ticket problem and closing the ticket
     - Giving template answers to the tickets like a zombie robot
     - They are NOT escalating the ticket to the bug fixing team instead they are replaying that the next week they will check the problem again. Of course the problem will exist if nobody solving it. They doing it in an infinite cycle or until they just closing the ticket.

    6.) Windows Ad Mediator(Microsoft Universal Ad Client) is stil instable
    AdMediator 2.0.5 causes a lot of unhandled exception and crashes, for example:

    Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    at Microsoft.AdMediator.WindowsPhone8.MicrosoftAdvertising.MicrosoftAdvertisingAdAdapter.RefreshAd()
    at Microsoft.AdMediator.Core.Utilities.AdRefreshTimer.TimerCallback(Object state)
    at System.Threading.TimerQueueTimer.CallCallbackInContext(Object state)
    at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.RunInternal(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx)
    at System.Threading.ExecutionContext.Run(ExecutionContext executionContext, ContextCallback callback, Object state, Boolean preserveSyncCtx)
    at System.Threading.TimerQueueTimer.CallCallback()
    at System.Threading.TimerQueueTimer.Fire()
    at System.Threading.TimerQueue.FireNextTimers()
    at System.Threading.TimerQueue.AppDomainTimerCallback()

    Another problem is that after I updated to AdMediator 2.0.5 AdDuplex ads not coming in my Windows Phone 8.0 app.
    Its incredible that after 8 months still not enough to create a stable AdMediator control!!
    You just create a newer and newer version with more-and-more bugs!!

    I give my time(!) and write down these six big problems with the hope that something will change!
    Otherwise I belive that if this mentality will continue it will be causing the end of Microsoft!

    @devtommy: I belive it would be far more reasonable to wait for Build, see announcements there are react accordingly. They won't do anything in 4 days and you don't know if those things are fixed already either.

    how to create user engagement group? can provide step by step?

  • User profile image

    @CheahEngSoon: Hi - the user engagement feature will be made broadly available in the Summer. We'll initially provide this to folks who have joined the Dev Center Insider program. We'll be sure to include robust help content on the how to create engagement groups. Thanks - Adrian

    So amazing stuff... but when wil I be able to see all time downloads? Is it that difficult to bring?

    @nanddonet: Life to date reports are now available in the Dashboard. For now we've exposed them to any developer that has signed up to the Dev Center Insider Program. Once signed up you'll see the data in the Acquisitions reports.

    We'll expose to all developers once we've verified the initial set of feedback. Also we'll be exposing the same data via our UWP in short order.

    I'm not seeing any downloads from some of my apps ..atleast not as much as last their more competition because of all the other easy ways of getting on the store?? I'm wondering if the market is too easy to crack.

    Please please make a nice uploader for project centennial..I have a reading dissability but I thrive on visual aids..I have apps for DLC and exe..I since I hear that their will be support to convert these items to the store i was super excited..however the comand propt is not how I upload my apps...It' would be nice if their can be an uploader for exe that then spits out a store package. Just a nice GUI would be nice..thanks
