Description

Microsoft Azure will be offering state of the art GPU visualization infrastructure and GPU compute infrastructure for various different scenarios like gaming, streaming, transcoding, machine learning, visualized CAD applications and many more other workloads that utilize GPUs. This session will give you a good technical overview of the technology that’s used to enable these GPUs into the Azure infrastructure and a roadmap including scenarios that we aim to fill with this capability.

    When is this coming and at what price exactly please? Any chance it is going to be made available through Azure grant for academia too!? I'd really love to try out CNTK's multi-GPU features in an academic machine learning project :)

    Public Preview is June and as long as you have credits for Azure, you'll simply be able to launch the VMs just like any other VM sides we have in Azure! Additionally you'll be able to lift and shift your CNTK libraries over to our K80 VMs Linux or Windows and essentially run them as is.
