@ErikGr: I don't know if this is a live streamed session, but 24-48 hours'ish after the session is given, which is about 28 hours from now, it should be available for on-demand viewing, so please check back on Thursday/Friday.
Update: In walking the area where this will be given, I'm now not sure if there IS going to be an on-demand version. :( I'll try to ask...
I hope they make a master command line that works with everything. I have too many command lines. CMD, PowerShell, PowerShell ISE, bash...
Hi everyone, this session won't be recorded but the information will be included in a Ch9 video Rich Turner will be doing in the near future.
There are numerous comments about improvements to CMD and PowerShell as well, but all the focus is on Bash right now. Was there any discussion of the improvements to CMD and PowerShell?
Hi Ryan, yes, a lot has been done in Windows 10 Anniversary to improve CMD and Powershell via the Windows Console improvements. If you want particular improvements make sure your voice is heard by visiting uservoice and adding requests, up voting existing requests. https://wpdev.uservoice.com/forums/266908-command-prompt-console
Improvements we'll be discussing at the mini theater on April 1st: - Improved Performance - VT sequence support - Better font support - Better support for High DPI screens
