I cannot connect to any of the discovered devices. I get "Connection error - No permission to access device" message after I click a device. No problem when using BLE sniffers on mobile phone so I wouldn't assume it's the device fault...
So... Steffen's laptop does not support the Virtual Peripheral option (not available in the Bluetooth chipset). But Frank's laptop DOES.
The bluetooth dongle I bought for my dev desktop machine DOES NOT support it. Neither does my Surface Pro 3.
What dongle can I buy that DOES support it? What Windows devices support it? What protocol or spec or whatever do I need to make sure is in the dongle spec sheet to support it?
I'd like to have a Windows device that can function like Frank's device. Can someone help?
