We will show you how the HTML5 video element enables playback easily with great UI, and how you can take your Metro style app to the next level by accessing Windows functionality from the app. You will learn how to build your own custom media components (codecs, streaming formats, effects, etc.) into your app, to extend beyond what Windows 8 offers.
