This session will explain the full methodology to create an Internet of Things project: objects, infrastructure, data analyses and intelligence.

In order to make the session more concrete, it will be illustrated with a real example from an home automated system. This real example built by Laurent Ellerbach will show you how to connect existing sensors, creating new ones as well as how to post data to Microsoft Azure from various embedded hardware like Arduino, Netduino, RaspberryPi. You'll learn also why and how to use Microsoft Azure as a backend, exposing, analyzing the data.
