Service Oriented App Architecture on UWP

UWP App Services concept not only helps developers integrate their applications with existing intrinsic apps such as Cortana on Windows 10 [mobile] but also provides an infrastructure to transpose the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) principles onto mobile and desktop application development platforms for both commercial and enterprise app scenarios.

Enterprise development platform as one of the implicated implementation areas can utilize apps specializing on certain use-cases are deployed independently from each other to employee mobile devices (or workstations) using MDMs. The interaction between these specialized apps (can be referred to as micro-apps) can be orchestrated to create a federated application and device network even involving IoT devices.
