    Cannot initialize HAX.
Failed to open the HAX device. It might not be installed.

What if laptop/desktop are not HAXM enabled?

I am getting the following error "This device does not have .NET installed"

    How to fix it?

I already develop using Xamarin.Forms and have VS solutions containing projects for Android, iOS, UWP, WinRT, WinPhone 8.1 RT, and WinPhone 8.0 SL. Can I install Visual Studio Tools for Tizen and then add a Tizen project to each of my existing solutions? Are there any potential conflicts that might impact my existing solutions?

Also, is the plan that the Tizen Xamarin.Forms code will be merged into the Xamarin.Forms main branch? Is there a target date for that happening?

@Pooran: Thanks for your questions! It is great that you also posted these questions on the Tizen developer forum (https://developer.tizen.org/forums/tizen.net/) and have been discussing and progressing with developers on there.

As the discussion there is constantly evolving, I shouldn't duplicate the contents from there here.

@johnhardman: It is great that you're already using Xamarin.Forms and are preparing to develop for Tizen! And, we're looking forward to seeing your work!

We are working hard to make it easier for you to develop for Tizen with your exisiting Xamarin.Forms projects. Look out for more in our upcoming previews!

Yes, I got to know about forums later and added questions there.

Looks promising. Visual Studio becomes IDE for all languages and platforms.
Is it possible to create a gear application with Visual Studio Tools for Tizen?

@RredCat: It's great that you're looking to use Visual Studio Tools for Tizen to build wearable applications for devices such as the Samsung Gear smartwatches!

Visual Studio Tools for Tizen is not available for wearables yet - we are working hard so that you can use your C# and Xamarin.Forms skills to create great Tizen wearable applications. We have upcoming previews scheduled, so keep an eye out for that!
