In this session, you will learn how to define a scalable data model in Power Pivot or Analysis Services, handling a growing volume of data and requests. You will see how to optimize memory usage and performance, how to use relationships in the data model, how to solve common design patterns such as relationships at granularities other than primary key in a table. A correct definition of the data model is also useful to get advantage of the other services for navigation, discovery, and prediction also available in Power BI.
