We discuss the top network performance blockers affecting customers when connecting to Microsoft Office 365, including how to overcome network performance and design issues (e.g., “weve always done it that way”). We take a look at troubleshooting the most common performance issues we find with customer network connections to the service, how to test for them, and how to resolve them. We cover approaches and workarounds used to accelerate hundreds of globally distributed customers into the cloud. Some of the other things we intend to cover include: bandwidth planning, network egress configuration, planning considerations for remote sites, and the pros and cons of the various network egress options.
