Description

Over the past few years git has been becoming more prolific, most open source projects are hosted on GitHub including DotNet itself and Visual Studio Online supports git out of the box. Git is no longer something you can ignore! Being a distributed version control system makes git quite different to the centralised approach TFS Version Control uses. This session will take you through the benefits of git and the real world differences you will see day to day by using git instead of TFS Version Control. If you have used git before, even better. This session will be going into some of the features which really differentiate git from TFS Version Control.
