Ordinary documents are one of the largest repositories of an organization's secrets. However most organizations are terrible at protecting those files. A host of technologies exist to assist organizations in protecting files, from NTFS permissions that have been around as long as NT has been, through to Enterprise Data Protection which debuted in Windows 10. In this session I'll look at how you can use a combination of technologies including EFS, BitLocker, AD and Azure RMS, Dynamic Access Control and Windows 10's Enterprise Data Protection to protect data whether those files are located on file share, are being emailed over the internet, or are being stored on a FAT32 formatted USB drive.
