Hardcore Architecture; After abstraction - business reality meets technology
This session will start at the end of the beginning, at the point where capability maps, benefits dependency networks, and business processes have been analyzed, ranked, and prioritized. Instead of the typical next steps (Identifying initiatives, seeking optimization, enabling business change, highlighting gaps, determining KPIs, creating roadmaps, or justifying IT expenses based on estimated returns) we will constrain the problem. Using scrubbed real world deliverables provided by the community we will walk through a series of reductive and deductive steps to identify concrete technology decisions that are actionable and whose implementation creates measurable value.
