Games Industry Panel Q&A (featuring Adam Sessler and Major Nelson)

Innovation is a funny beast. Sometimes I think more people write books about it than actually do it. But talk is cheap. Effective action isn't. But anyone who has reached the Imagine Cup Finals knows that. So you have a head-start. What I hope to do in this session is give you a leg up - to share with you what I think that I have learned over the past 35 years that may help you going forward. If there is a single key message in what I have to say, it is that scholarship, classic research, and history are as important to study, as is "invention", in terms of being an effective innovator. That and a love of what you are doing.
