PDC 1993 took place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California, and was known as Windows "Chicago." An estimated 8,000+ attendees were introduced to Win32 and Object Linking and Embedding version 2, as well as a public demonstration of Cairo, including the Object File System.
