In Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Indiana is talking to the character called Short Round about a stone with special powers called the Sankara Stone.  Short Round asks Indiana "What is Sankara?" to which Indiana replies "Fortune and glory, kid.  Fortune and glory." (Ok, so where is this abstract going with an Indiana Jones reference?...)  It's safe to say that basically every developer that is building an app for a platform is motivated by at least one of Fortune and Glory.  Some are motivated by the money they can make.  Others by the recognition they get for it.  Others still want both.  Well, the Windows Store can give you both.  Learn how the Windows Store works for the apps you build, how to publish your apps, tips and tricks for having successful download numbers, getting featured and how to keep a user coming back to your app.  In other words, you will learn the path to Fortune and Glory on the Windows Store.  Moral of this session:  be Indiana Jones.
