Albert Kooiman is a Principal Program Manager in the Skype team in Microsoft. Currently he works on the Meeting Device portfolio for Skype for Business. He has over twenty years of experience in the telecommunications and speech technology industry, and has been a driver of innovation in communications and speech enabled solutions by building scalable developer platforms for unified communications, both on-premises and in the cloud. Albert holds a Master’s Degree of the Medical Faculty of the University of Amsterdam, where he specialized in Medical Informatics. He started his career in the field of Hospital Information Systems and Medical Statistics.
