Anoosh Saboori is a Senior Program Manager in the Windows Security team. He has been working in the area of modern authentication and PKI in the past 5 years. He was part of the PM team that delivered Microsoft Passport and its integration with Windows Hello. With Microsoft Passport, strong user authentication becomes a reality for consumers and is easy and fun to use due to its integration with Windows Hello. Anoosh is also part of the team that drives Microsoft FIDO involvement and is responsible for engaging with hardware vendors that want to interoperate with FIDO 2.0 and Windows. In his past projects, he worked on certificate reputation which helps detecting fraud server identities that use fraudulent certificates. Anoosh obtained his PhD from University of Illinois in the area of network security, in 2010.
