Hoi Vo is currently General Manager for the OS/Hypervisor team on Windows Azure. His team is developing the lowest-level components focusing on the virtualized environment in Azure. Before joining the team, Hoi was a software architect in the Programmer Productivity Research Center inside Microsoft Research, focusing on building infrastructures for code analysis and optimization at the binary level. Prior to that, he also worked on Cairo, Microsoft's object-oriented operating system project. Before joining Microsoft, Hoi was a systems engineer at Compaq Computer focusing on development and performance analysis for network and storage device drivers.
