Alec Tucker

Alec is the Head of Mobile Product Development for Asia Pacific at The White Clarke Group in Sydney. He first got involved in the mobile space in the late '90s when his startup was one of the original Microsoft PocketPC launch partners. Working with Xamarin since its MonoTouch days Alec was recently invited to become a Xamarin Insider in recognition of his expertise and contributions to the developer community. Through White Clarke he has enterprise apps deployed at financial institutions in the UK, Southern Africa and Australia and he started and runs the Sydney Mobile .Net Developers Group. Alec has all three Xamarin certifications and has presented on Windows Phone at DVLUP, and also on cross platform native mobile development with Xamarin at various events and hack days. In addition to his mobile work Alec has held a variety of roles covering all aspects of software development, architecture and project management. He has served as Technical Director on the boards of two software companies.
