Anton Krantz is responsible for video programs in the Microsoft Lync product group and leads the Lync Room Systems program. He is actively involved in the Unified Communications Interoperability Forum H.264 task group, which specifies interoperability profiles for industry standard video systems. The forum is focused on achieving industry-wide interoperability through testing and certification. Anton has previously led development of IP phones as part of building Microsoft’s Unified Communications product line, culminating in the release of Lync 2010. Prior to his work in the Lync group, he was program manager for wireless in the Windows Networking group. He holds an electrical engineering degree and 37 patents in wireless networking, real time audio/video and unified communications.
