Bertrand Le Roy

Bertrand Le Roy grew up in Paris where he self-published his first video game at age 12. At age 20, he got accepted at École Normale Supérieure de Lyon where he obtained a Ph.D. in Mathematical Physics. After that, he built what was probably the first .NET CMS. Microsoft recruited him shortly after that to work on ASP.NET. There, he pushed the Open Source agenda, participated in the adoption of jQuery and co-founded the Orchard CMS. In 2011, he co-founded Nwazet, an open hardware company. In 2014, he founded Decent Consulting to share his expertise and develop new open-source projects.
