Blaine Wastell is a Senior Program Manager for Microsoft patterns & practices. During his time with patterns & practices Blaine focused on creating guidance for client development and improving web application security. Most recently Blaine developed guidance on how to create Windows 8 applications using C++ and XAML. Blaine is responsible for Prism which provides guidance on how to create composite applications using WPF and Silverlight. Prior to Microsoft, Blaine was a consultant where he spent almost 15+ years managing large enterprise projects to create line of business applications using Microsoft technologies.
