Gerwin is responsible as Project Manager for the central Application Portfolio Management project within the Dutch Central Government. The goal of this project is to reduce the number of licenses as well as the TCO of the total application portfolio. Gerwin has been working for the Dutch Local and Central Government for over 20 years. During these years he has been active in various roles and has been responsible for implementing various complex information systems. Additionally, he has, based on results of application portfolio analysis, phased out several business critical applications in a controlled manner. These applications have been either replaced or migrated to a new platform or version. Gerwin holds a Master degree in Business Administration as well as in Business Informatics from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam. In his free time Gerwin likes to watch cricket, play golf and he is an enthusiastic amateur photographer.
