Judy Meyer leads Microsoft’s Real Time Analytics team in the Information Management & Machine Learning organization as the Principal Group Program Manager. Her team is responsible for delivering technologies that help customers go beyond the world of Big Data, into the world of Data in Motion. Connecting the world of things (Internet of things – IoT or Internet of Everything – IoE) to the cloud of information production, analytics, and control is a key mission of the team Judy leads. As data keeps arriving at ever increasing clips, optimizing with solutions to stay on top of processing such data in real time to keep current with the data influx and transform data into actionable insights are some of her team’s focus. Prior to this role, Judy was the leader for the Microsoft Information Services Ecosystem team responsible for data and solution partnerships for the Data Platform Group. Before joining Microsoft, Judy spent over a decade at IBM leading various Software development and Cloud Platform projects including Smarter Planet initiatives, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and IBM’s PureFlex Systems. She started her career working for the Government in the Public Sector. Judy has a Bachelor's and a Master's degrees from the University of Minnesota with specialization in Databases & Data Mining. She also has an M.B.A. specializing in International Business from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota.
