Kaakpema “KP” Yelpaala, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, access.mobile International Kaakpema is an entrepreneur with a deep understanding of international health systems and over 15 years of experience working in Africa and emerging markets. Kaakpema is a driven and inspiring manager who founded access.mobile in 2011 and spearheads the company’s product and global market growth. Prior to starting the company, Kaakpema worked with Dalberg Global Development Advisors, and served as one of the first employees of the Clinton Health Access Initiative in East Africa. He has taught at the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies, and was appointed to the Governor of Colorado’s Small Business Council in 2014. Kaakpema has a MPH from the Yale School of Public Health and a BA with honors from Brown University.
