Kunle Awosika

Kunle Awosika is focused on steering Microsoft Corporation in Kenya to the next phase of expansion through commercial and government engagements while building and growing a high performing team.
His career at Microsoft Corporation spans over 16 years, Kunle has held several senior and key sales and business development roles in the company, including running the telecommunications sector across West East Central Africa (WECA).
Prior to his appointment in Kenya in 2013, Kunle worked as Director, Enterprise & Public Sector Business for (Anglophone) Africa, contributing to the business expansion within the growth region of West Africa.
He currently sits on the board of American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) as serves as the Vice President Nairobi Chapter, he also serves as an active advisor to the Presidential Digital Talent Program (PDTP) a youth programme to address unemployment challenges, amongst other advisory boards and most recently joined the global membership YPO-WPO as an active Nairobi chapter member.
In 2014, launched a Youth Employability & Entrepreneurship Portal (Tukoworks) to support job seekers & aspiring entrepreneurs which is widely used as the platform across government, commercial entities and the civil society.
In 2015, as part of his growth journey and proud moments,  supported the successful global launch of Windows 10 in Nairobi with his Global CEO (Satya Nadella) attending, which attracted both local and international media, great local excitement and enabled greater financial investment into our region.
Before his extensive experience at Microsoft, Kunle worked within the downstream Oil and Gas Sector Exxon-Mobil, and prior with a local IT company in Nigeria (Solix Technologies)
Kunle holds a Masters Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Keele, U.K. and a B. Sc. in Business Administration from the University of Lagos (Nigeria).
