Lindsay Berg

Lindsay began her career in technology working for a boutique public relations and customer intelligence firm in the Bay Area, where she handled programs for companies like Cisco and Business Objects. She then spent time at Waggener Edstrom, Microsoft’s PR agency of record, working on the technical reviews program for Microsoft’s developer tools business. Lindsay joined Microsoft in 2007 as the customer evidence lead for the Core Infrastructure Optimization marketing group. She then expanded her product focus to cover customer references for Windows Server and Microsoft System Center, with variety of roles focused on how customers are used in public relations, analyst relations, and marketing. Starting in 2012, she led content creation for the “Transform the Datacenter” campaign, covering Microsoft’s vision for the datacenter in the age of cloud. Lindsay holds a B.A. in Slavic Languages and Literature from Princeton University, and earned her Ph.D. in Slavic Languages and Literature at Northwestern University. She thoroughly enjoys the process of taking non-technical skills and deploying them in a high tech company. Lindsay loves reading, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two extremely active boys.
