Nick Malik is a Senior Enterprise Strategy Architect with Microsoft Services and the former Director of EA Segment Services in the Microsoft IT Enterprise Architecture program. Over the course of the past 32 years in various high-tech roles, Nick has worked in a wide array of organizations including financial services, health care, telecommunications, manufacturing, software, entertainment, hospitality, and government. He has played both business and technology roles, and brings a wide understanding of business strategy, leadership, and technical prowess to each engagement. In 2009, Nick contributed the leading comprehensive metamodel for enterprise business architecture to Open Source as the Enterprise Business Motivation Model (www.motivationmodel.com), and is closely engaged with the Federation of Enterprise Architecture Professional Organizations (FEAPO), the Object Management Group (OMG), and the Open Group to mature the profession and practices of Enterprise Architecture.
