PowerShell 2.0 is out-so what? In PowerShell 1.0, you can easily get to WMI to solve problems which is fine on your local machine. But what about if you are on the enterprise with thousands of machines? With PowerShell 2.0, the concept of remoting is introduced, where you can define the WMI query... and can run that same query across thousands of machines all at once.
