Active Directory Rights Management Services futures and features.
Play Active Directory Rights Management Services futures and features.
This session will cover the new developments with Active Directory Rights Management Services. This will cover the integration of AD RMS with Exchange Server 2010 and File Classification Infrastructure (FCI) on Windows Server 2008 R2. The integration with Exchange 2010 allows the implementation of transport rules that apply RMS templates on emails based on administrator defined keywords or rules. These transport rules ensure that security policies enforce the protection of information in a compulsory fashion when it leaves the enterprise. The session will also cover the addition of File Classification Infrastructure (FCI) on Windows Server 2008 R2. FCI will allow RMS protection of documents in directory file shares. FCI can associate classification for files based on location and content. In addition to benefits such as automatic expiration of files based on classification and reporting, FCI supports custom actions based on classification through which partners and IT organisations can develop solutions for information to be protected with RMS policies automatically based on the file sensitivity.
