This session is designed for lead developers, application architects and solution designers responsible for building Windows 8.x applications for use in the enterprise. By attending this session attendees will learn what they need to make their Windows 8.x application development projects successful and get more value for money from each development hour they spend._x000D_ _x000D_ In this session Mitch will demonstrate an approach for building an interconnected application architecture which makes the best use of the Windows 8.x shell. Specifically Mitch will explore three different application archetypes which makes Windows 8.x application projects more approachable._x000D_ _x000D_ Specifically this session will look at how to tie the end-users experience together via an enterprise-wide activity hub, and build gateway applications and departmental applications to support user workloads and integration with existing systems. Attendees will learn how to break large monolithic applications up into smaller more manageable components and then link them together with approaches such as protocol activation, pickers, sharing and other package contracts and declarations._x000D_
