Windows 7 DirectAccess
Play Windows 7 DirectAccess
DirectAccess is a new feature in Windows® 7 that gives users the experience of being seamlessly connected to their corporate network any time they have Internet access. When IT enables DirectAccess, Windows 7 securely directs requests for corporate resources (such as e-mail, shared folders, or intranet Web sites) to the corporate network, without requiring users to connect to a virtual private network (VPN). Windows 7 DirectAccess provides increased productivity for a mobile workforce by offering the same connectivity experience both in and outside of the office.
