Microsoft SQL Server provides several tools to meet your automation needs, including SQL Server Agent, SQL Server Alerts, and now PowerShell. This session demonstrates how and when to leverage the various automation tools that are available to you with a focus on using the new SQL Server 2008 PowerShell provider, and shows you sample scripts for SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008 Instances.
