Download this episode
Application compatibility is one of the main challenges inhibiting customers from upgrading to Windows 7. MED-V solves the tough application compatibility challenges, including IE6 compatibility, by providing a way to use Windows XP applications on Windows 7. Targeted for the enterprise, MED-V provides a complete deployment, management and control solution and integrates with enterprise management solutions like Configuration Manager. This session will describe MED-V version 2, and explain how it will provide application compatibility to unblock that migration to Windows 7. We will outline the improved seamless user experience, and the integration with existing infrastructure. We will talk about deployment strategies, and how MED-V v2 provides the ability and assurance for accelerating that Windows 7 deployment, without being slowed down by application compatibility problems.
