Microsoft’s Cloud OS vision is to deliver a consistent datacenter platform and set of experiences regardless of deployment location.  This means that customers can choose to run their business from their own datacenter, in Windows Azure, or in a hosted datacenter and will benefit from common technologies and similar experiences across these environments.  Windows Server 2012 R2 and Microsoft System Center 2012 R2 are the foundation of this Cloud OS vision in private and hosted datacenters.  Microsoft is also taking new services developed in Windows Azure and bringing them to Windows Server-based environments allowing service providers the ability to offer these great experiences to their customers.
