Microsoft Office 365 has datacenters all across the world and customers have offices all across the world. In between those is the Internet. Network traffic routing and bandwidth availability on the Internet varies and in addition the shape of Internet connectivity from Office 365 clients is different to regular web browsing. Planning and testing for network connectivity prior to onboarding a customer with Office 365 is important to avoid difficult to troubleshoot issues later. In this session, we talk about Office 365 datacenters, describe how Office 365 datacenters are connected to the Internet and explain how you can plan for Internet connectivity.
