Team Foundation Server has always supported great development practices, but traditionally, the deployment of applications has been handled out of band. Often, it involves Barry from Infrastructure following an untested Word document to stop processes, copy files over production versions, and run scripts. It's error-prone to say the least._x000D_ _x000D_ In this session, we'll look at the features of the awesome new Release Management for Visual Studio 2013 tool. We'll investigate what it is and the benefits it can provide to your teams. We will walk through the different components and how they work together under the covers, and we'll run through creating a release template and releasing to multiple environments. Finally, we'll look at some other popular products like Octopus Deploy and Redgate Deployment Manager, and compare them to Release Management._x000D_
