Description

There's no arguing the value of unit tests these days, but the real juicy action is often in the integration of two or more components. In this session, we'll take a look at what a good integration test suite looks like - including tips and tricks on how to work with external dependencies. We'll look at the benefits derived from test frameworks, and touch on the joys of working with IIS Express, SQL Server LocalDB, and more!

The session was built around a two hour user group talk; admittingly this wasn't my best delivery of the session - I'd blame the 20+ hours of flying to get to TechEd but overall it's an important topic and please dig in further to the code.  Feel free to reach out to me, colin@bowern.com, @colinbowern, if you are interested in some of the specifics.  Code is up at https://github.com/colinbowern/presentations.
