This session focuses on the Microsoft branded interoperability connectors that are available for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 today -- as well as the improvements that will become available alongside Operations Manager 2007 R2 -- enabling the shared management and synchronization of alerts between Operations Manager and other popular enterprise management systems. The session presents the architecture used by the connectors, includes a demonstration that walks through key scenarios for the connectors, and concludes with a discussion of the roadmap for interoperability for Operations Manager 2007 and other System Center products such as Service Manager and Configuration Manager. The session also discusses the upcoming 'universal connector' which will provide considerable flexibility in different situations.
