Advanced Edge Security: Closing the SSL Threat Highway and Moving to Virtualized Security
Security is becoming more and more complex and ISA 2006 is evolving into Forefront Threat Management Gateway to address this complexity head on. First, Web 2.0 and other applications are using SSL to disguise traffic - making the security gateway think they are ordinary Web traffic and opening your network to increased threats. Second, virtualization opens up new possibilities and new complexities for the security manager. This session will illustrate how Forefront TMG enables you to control content within SSL traffic without shutting it down and how edge security solutions such as Forefront TMG and Unified Access Gateway provide a pathway to virtualized security.
