Description

SharePoint has built-in user authorization so that a site owner can specify what access particular users have to resources. Authentication is the identification of who the user is and this is provided by other software external to SharePoint,such as Active Directory. There are many authorization and authentication requirements in custom solutions and this session helps to explain the technology landscape.
