High-performance computing (HPC) is used to address some of today’s most important problems. With the advent of the cloud, using HPC gets significantly easier, making this technology accessible to a broader audience. In this session, David Chappell introduces HPC, illustrating the kinds of problems it can solve, then describes how Windows HPC Server supports those solutions. The goal is to make clear what this technology is, how it works, and why it’s important.
