Kanban is the most talked about and implemented new approach to process improvement in software development, IT work, and DevOps. Taken from Lean Product Development, the Toyota Way and even some ideas from Lean Manufacturing, Kanban is helping companies make continuous, incremental improvements to their software development processes. Unlike many other agile methodologies, Kanban can be implemented inside of very "non-agile" companies with great success. Plus, it works well with other agile methodologies, such as Scrum, XP, Spiral and FDD. Come to this session to learn the five basic steps to implementing Kanban. The speaker, Steven Borg, has been involved in many real-world Kanban implementations and can help you navigate around the pitfalls, while bringing real change to your organization.
